| CORNERSTONE SUPPORTS NIAGARA HOSPICE HOUSE |

 LOCKPORT, N.Y. (July 20, 2010) – Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union finalized their $50,000 commitment this month to support Niagara Hospice House. Over the past five years, Cornerstone has donated $10,000 per year to the building through the “Wings of Serenity” fundraising campaign. The facility is located on Sunset Drive in the town of Lockport and opened in 2007. It houses twenty suites for both long and short-term medical care. “This gift reflects Cornerstone’s core values and its dedication to the residents of Niagara County,” said Cornerstone President and CEO Ann M. Brittin. “Niagara Hospice House offers services to families who may not be able to receive home-based care and we are proud to help provide care to those in need.”
One wing of Niagara Hospice House contains ten suites designed for patients needing residential hospice care. Another wing houses ten suites for patients needing short-term medical monitoring and symptom management. Cornerstone’s donation was specifically used to build the inpatient wing family gathering room.
